We read several reviews of the product by other users, attended webinars on the solution, and spoke in depth to a company representative. From these discussions, we decided that we had the solution we were looking for.

DATA REVIEW
When deciding on which data protection solution to offer our customers, there were several important characteristics that we looked for. We wanted a solution that:

• was built from the ground with backup and business continuity in mind
• give our customers the ability to select readers , files, applications, and they wanted to save; not reverse the incremental backups; and change the retention schedule at the request
• Offered a Web-based interface from which we were able to centrally manage the devices of our customers

We currently have the solution deployed at 20 of our most demanding customers, whose businesses require solutions on-site business continuity and disaster recovery. These deployments protect almost 17 TB of data.

But there were other benefits as well. The Axcient partner program has provided certification training, support and marketing materials, and the company has given us a real sense that we work together as partners to meet the needs of our customers.

Ultimately, however, it does not matter how the partner program or the flexibility to offer a solution. What matters is that the product works properly disaster.
